We aim to present high-quality concerts supported by excellent professional musicians in major venues. But we also keep our ticket prices affordable to make them accessible to as many people as possible, in line with our charitable aim of promoting the appreciation of the art of choral music.
As a result, our concerts almost never break even and are heavily subsidised by members’ subscriptions, which also have to cover other expenses such as rehearsal facilities. Pursuing our further aim of bringing to public attention unknown works which we think would be generally appreciated and enjoyed is an even riskier enterprise.
