Life in Oxford Harmonic Choir
We warmly welcome new members to our friendly and lively choir.
As well as preparing and performing three major concerts a year, we enjoy choral training sessions with highly respected choral trainer Suzi Digby to help us develop our singing skills.
There are plenty of opportunities to get to know fellow singers in rehearsal breaks and at choir social events. We also have an active Facebook page.
The annual subscription for the 2019–20 season is £175.
The subscription for two terms’ membership is £128.
The subscription for one term’s membership is £69.
The student rate is £33 per annum, or £11 per term.
Scores can be bought or hired through the choir.
Rehearsals for the next concert will begin on Tuesday 10 September 2019.
How to join us
If you are interested in joining the choir please contact our membership secretary, Pauline Friel, who will arrange for you to come to two or three rehearsals to see if you would like to join. If you would, you will be asked to do an informal voice test with our conductor. There is no sight-singing test, but you need to be able to read music and be confident that you can learn pieces relatively quickly.
